Greetings to you all, I know it’s been a while since I shared some blog content.
Been a bit tight with my schedule, also preparing for an exam that starts next month.
Been the one handling everything on this page, but plans to hire one or two persons to help.
Hopefully, after next month, will get done with the exams and start posting frequently.
What Is Easter?
Now let’s talk about Easter, what is it about?
Easter is one of the major holidays or feasts for Christians. It marks the Death (Crucifixion) and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ after three days. For many Christian churches, Easter is the joyful celebration of fasting and penitence. The earliest reported tradition of Easter comes from the 2nd century, though it is likely that even the earliest Christians commemorated the Resurrection, which is an integral principle of the faith.
Why Do We Celebrate Easter?
Christians celebrate Easter to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is the time to reflect and change our ways from evil to good because Jesus died for our sins.
According to John chapter three (3) verses sixteen(16), for God so love the world that He gave His Only-begotten Son to die for our sin. Whosoever believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
Let’s all take this time of the year to reflect on what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross of Calvary. His ultimate love for mankind is profound, show some love to your family, neighbours and everyone around is.
Let’s allow love to lead this Easter.
Happy Easter Everyone!
“The resurrection is at the core of our beliefs as Christians. Without it, our faith is meaningless.” ~ Joseph B. Wirthlin.
